Online witnesses and many social media street journalist reported that during the peak period of closing time for some Nigerian Workers, a tanker lost control of his truck and while trying to avoid a collusion, fell on its side which led to an oil spillage.
The spilled unleaded petrol rapidly made its way across the Otedola Bridge with cars lined up in a slow moving traffic and within minutes a fire broke out and cars and public transport buses began to ignite and explode with people still in them.
It was reported that over 52 vehicles have been involved, 9 declared dead while many were claimed to be burnt beyond recognition.
Such a sad day for the Citizens of Nigeria, who recently lost some lives to a Plateau attack with the on going terrorism of the Herdsmen.
