Many woke up to the trending news of the Nigerian Multi- Millionaire Femi Otedola accepting the offer from People Democratic Party (PDP) to run for Governor in Lagos State.
The Business man who is the controlling shareholder of the Forte Oil company and was featured in the 2016 Forbes Billionaires is also popularly known for his Daughters DJ Cuppy and Temi Otedola social media profiles/presence as well as been known for showing his meekness on his social media page since the beginning of the year 2018.
If you remember a picture of him riding on the Lagos lorry popularly known as "Molue", social media platforms applauded him for his humility, it is safe to say that was the beginning of the journey of Campaign.
It is no doubt in the family tree of The Otedola's as Micheal Otedola (father of Femi) was the Governor of Lagos State in the year 1992-1993.
Some opinions has been raised that this is history repeating it self with reference to MKO Abiola's case. i am not going to go into that detail for now but those who are familiar with the story might have an insight of what i am referring too.
Until then, lets keep watching and see the retaliation of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, (only PDP and APC that we know in Nigeria).
By the way, the APC candidate is still the present Governor Ambode Akinwunmi who is looking to run for another term.
